Apple Pup-Cakes

We recently celebrated birthdays with these delicious Apple Pup-Cakes and I though I would share them with all the dog mom and dads. These were a BIG hit! I love baking and cooking for my three little furry loves. But I try to keep it healthy, they are a bit on the larger size. Still, when it comes to birthdays, we all should eat cake. This year, we had apple pupcakes drizzled with sweet glaze and topped with coconut coated peanut butter oatmeal balls and finished with cinnamon sprinkled fresh apple bones. HOW FANCY!!

I think the pictures say it all! 🙂

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 12 a cup cupcake pan with cupcake liners and spray with oil, set aside. In a mixing bowl, combine all ingredients and scoop out equal amounts into cupcake pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean from the cake.
  2. Mix water and sugar and place in plastic bag. Cut a small hole in the corner of the bag, for easy piping. *Please only use a very small amount of glaze on the pup-cakes. Just like us, most dogs love sweets (mine do, for sure) it is not good for them.
  3. Fresh apples for garnish (optional, they look cute, but they were left behind) Slice apple into thin slices and with a small bone cookie cutter cut out a bone shape.
